CULDRUM TOWNSHIP -- Two people were arrested for allegedly stealing firearms in Morrison County.

The incident happened at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) in the 17000 block of 10th Avenue in Culdrum Township.

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen says a search warrant was used at the home where officers recovered a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, which was reported stolen from a Browerville residence earlier this month.

33-year-old Erik Blanco and 33-year-old Brenda Rahn, of Long Prairie, were arrested for probable cause possession of a stolen firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Blanco and Rahn are being held in the Morrison County Jail awaiting formal charges.

The arrest stemmed from a joint investigation with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, Todd County Sheriff's Office and Little Falls Police Department.
