Two People are Hurt After a Crash Near Zimmerman
ZIMMERMAN - Two people are hurt after swerving to avoid hitting a deer.
The State Patrol says the accident happened around 2:00 a.m. yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Forty-nine-year-old Marty Kjellberg of Monticello was driving his SUV southbound on Highway 169 when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer, crossed the center median and went into the northbound lanes of Highway 169.
Kjellberg hit a tree before coming to a stop.
Kjellberg and his passenger 39-year-old Paris Berry of Montrose both suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
