Two More Candidates File for House District 14A Special Election

ST. CLOUD -- Two more people have filed for a special election February 12th that will fill a House of Representatives seat left vacant with the resignation of Steve Gottwalt.

Joanne Dorsher has filed as a Democrat for the House District 14A seat, while Scott MacHardy has filed as a Republican, joining John Severson and Tama Theis as GOP candidates.

Candidate James Parmele has withdrawn his name from consideration.

The GOP endorsement will be held tomorrow (Saturday).

The Democratic endorsement convention will be held next Saturday, January 19th.
