Two Men Arrested For Avon Elementary and St. Cloud Tech Burglaries

AVON – Two men were arrested on Friday after police found stolen property from both Avon Elementary and St. Cloud Tech.

Avon Police used a search warrant at 437 1st Street Southeast. During the search, officers found all the property that was taken from the Avon Elementary School during a burglary last Saturday (July 5th).

Officers also found additional stolen property from a previous burglary at St. Cloud Tech High School on June 1st.

22-year-old Mitchel Heinen from Avon and 22-year-old Paul Maile Jr from St. Cloud were arrested to face multiple alleged charges, including 3rd degree burglary.

The was no resistance or weapons used during the arrests. The St. Cloud Police Department Investigative Unit assisted during the search warrant.
