An alleged drunk driver said to be running from police drove into the crowd at the South by Southwest Music & Film Festival in Austin, Texas; killing two and injuring 23 more. 

Reports out of Austin, Texas today say that a suspected drunk driver who was apparently trying to run away from police drove through a barricade and into the crowd at the South by Southwest Music & Film Festival early this (Thursday) morning.

At a news conference, the Austin Chief of Police says that the driver was apprehended, but not before he crashed through the barricade, hit two people on a moped killing both and proceeded to drive through the crowd and injuring 23 others; five critically. The driver is in police custody.

The victims names, along with the driver's name have not been released.
