MAPLE LAKE -- Two people were hurt after being involved in a two vehicle crash in Wright County this (Monday) morning.

The incident happened just after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and 53rd Street Northwest.

The state patrol says 61-year-old Bettyjo Buettner, of Monticello, was heading west on Highway 55, when she stopped to wait for traffic waiting  trying to turn left into a Cenex parking lot. She was then rear ended by another vehicle causing her to roll into the ditch.

Buettner suffered non life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, 36-year-old Maria Hansen of Buffalo, was not hurt.

57-year-old Creig Lisle was the driver of the second vehicle. He was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries. His passenger 16-year-old Mitchell Ouren, was not hurt in the crash.
