Two Hurt in Red Light Running Crash
ST. CLOUD -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in St. Cloud this (Monday) morning. Police were called to the intersection of 3rd Street North and 25th Avenue North at 7:30 a.m.
Officers say an SUV driven by 32-year-old Laciana Ginyard of St. Cloud was heading westbound on 3rd Street when another vehicle struck her truck in the intersection. The driver of the second vehicle, 35-year-old Matthew Ludwig of St. Cloud was heading south on 25th Avenue when police say he went through a red light and struck Ginyard's SUV.
The collision forced the truck to roll over onto its roof.
Ginyard and her passenger, 59-year-old Miriam Murray of Hammond, Indiana were taken to St. cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ludwig was cited for failing to stop on a red light.
