Two Hurt in Pine County Crash

PINE COUNTY -- Two people were hurt in crash in Pine County late last (Friday) night.

The incident happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 15 and Highway 48 near Sandstone.

The state patrol says 18-year-old Kendra Anderson of Zimmerman was driving eastbound on County Road 15 when she went into the right lane and tried to make a U-turn on to Highway 48.  Anderson was struck on the side 61-year-old Julie Young-Garayt of Eagan, who was driving east on Highway 48.

Both suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
