Two Hurt After Stearns County Boating Accident

RICHMOND -- Two people were hurt when a boat crashed into shore Friday afternoon.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says it happened at about 5:30 on Cedar Island Lake when 35-year-old David Hanle of Becker lost control of the boat when it hit another boat's wake. Hanle's boat then veered off course and struck the shoreline.

Hanle and his passenger, 56-year-old Barbara Hanle of Richmond were taken to St. cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
