Two Arrested in Connection With Slain Minnesota Sergeant
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - St. Paul police have arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of a Minnesota National Guard sergeant earlier this week.
Reports say the suspects are a 25-year-old man from South St. Paul and a 24-year-old woman from St. Paul. They could be charged as early as Monday.
The victim was 25-year-old Brandon James Horst. He was a staff sergeant with the Minnesota National Guard's 133rd Security Force Squadron.
Police say he died from at least one gunshot wound Monday.
Authorities are not seeking any other suspects.
