PINE RIVER (AP) - Two people have been arrested in connection with seven cabin burglaries near Backus and Pine River.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, a 27-year-old Pine River man was arrested last Wednesday after authorities received a report of suspicious all-terrain vehicle activity in a rural area southwest of Backus. Deputies discovered fresh ATV tracks in the driveways of seasonal homes.

Deputies say they were able to locate a stolen ATV and connect the man to seven burglaries.

The sheriff's office says a 37-year-old Pine River man was arrested Monday after they executed a search warrant at a home and found stolen property.

Charges against the suspects are still pending.
