The Twins won 5-2 at Kansas City Friday night to get their 2nd straight victory. Carl Pavano threw all 9 innings with 9 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 3-5 this season. The win is his 100th in his major league career. Denard Span went 2-5 with a 2-run triple and both Delmon Young and Ben Revere were 2-4 with a run scored. Minnesota improves to 19-37 and will play at Kansas City again tonight at 6:10, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Righthander Nick Blackburn (4-4) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Luke Hochevar (3-5) toes the rubber for the Royals.
