The Twins topped the Marlins 7-5 Wednesday night at Target Field for their second straight win. Minnesota improves to 18-40 on the season.

Trevor Plouffe had a home run and the game-winning hit for the Twins, a double off of the right field wall in the seventh inning. Byung Ho Park and Joe Mauer also had home runs for Minnesota.

The Twins will host the Marlins again Thursday night at Target Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. on WJON, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30.
