The Twins beat the Houston Astros 3-1 Monday night at Target Field in the opening game of a four-game series. Minnesota improves to 46-66 on the season with the victory.

Tyler Duffey lasted six innings and allowed just one run on four hits and one walk with eight strikeouts to earn the win. The Twins bullpen combined to allow a single walk and no hits in three innings of work.

The Twins host the Astros again Tuesday night at Target Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON.
