The Twins' dismal West Coast road trip continued Wednesday with a 5-2 loss to the Angels in Southern California. Minnesota has now lost four of five games on the trip and are now 7.5 games behind the Kansas City Royals in the Wild Card standings.

Brian Dozier was 1-5 with the Twins' only two runs batted in, and Joe Mauer finished the game 2-5. Mike Pelfrey fell to 6-8 on the season after allowing four runs (two earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out one.

The Twins wrap up their six game road trip with one more game against the Angels Thursday afternoon before coming home for a series with the Yankees. Thursday's game gets underway at 2:30, with pregame coverage beginning at 2:00 PM on AM 1240 on WJON.
