The Twins jumped on Chicago starter John Danks early, scoring a run in the top of the first inning, then three in the second.

Oswaldo Arcia, Chris Colabello, Eric Fryer and Brian Dozier all had run-scoring singles for the Twins.

Scott Diamond improved to 6-11 on the season with a three run, five hit performance over 6.1 innings of work.
