Twins starter Kevin Corriea lasted just two innings and was pulled after allowing six runs. After reliever Ryan Pressly allowed seven runs in just 1.1 innings, the Twins brought in infielder Jamey Carrol to pitch. The 38-year old set down the Royals in order in the eighth inning.
