The Twins honored Hall of Famer and former Twin Harmon Killebrew at a Memorial Service Thursday night at Target Field.  Killebrew died Tuesday May 17 after a battle with esophagael cancer.  His funeral was last Friday in Arizona.  Many former and current Twins players spoke at the Memorial Service including Rod Carew, Jim Kaat, and Paul Molitor.  Carew said he met Killebrew as a rookie and quickly became friends with Killebrew.  He said Harmon made him a better person.  Molitor said he idolized Killebrew as a kid growing up in St. Paul and loved him more as a man and friend.  Killebrew's wife, Nita also spoke and thanked Twins fans for their love and support.
