The Twins fell below .500 on the season Friday night with a 7-6 loss to the Indians in Cleveland in ten innings. Drew Stubbs hit an RBI double in the bottom of the tenth to give the Indians the walk-off win.

The Twins led the game 2-0 after two innings, thanks to a first inning Justin Morneau sacrifice fly and a Trevor Plouffe solo home run in the top of the second.

Cleveland tied it at two with a Jason Kipnis two-run triple in the bottom of the third inning. Mark Reynolds hit a two-run home run off Twins starter Pedro Hernandez in the bottom of the fourth to give the Indians a 4-2 lead.

Minnesota was able to get a run back right away in the top of the fifth thanks an Oswaldo Arcia RBI single that plated Chris Parmelee.

The Indians scored again in the bottom of the sixth, and the Twins found themselves trailing 5-3 heading into the seventh inning.

Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer each flew out to center field to start the inning, but the Twins were able to put together a rally to re-take the lead.

Morneau singled to centerfield and advanced to second on a passed ball before being driven home by Ryan Doumit to make the score 5-4. Parmelee followed with a two run home run to give the Twins a 6-5 lead.

Cleveland tied the game in the bottom of the eighth with a two run rally of their own off of Minnesota reliever Jared Burton. Stubbs’ double in the tenth off of Casey Fien gave the Indians the 7-6 win.
