The Twins ended a 4-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Sunday afternoon at Tropicana Field.  Jason Kubel hit a solo homerun for the Twins, his 2nd homerun in as many days.  Jason Repko went 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Steve Holm went 2-4 with a run scored for Minnesota.  Brian Duensing threw 7 innings with 7 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 1-0.  Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 8th inning before Matt Capps threw a scoreless 9th for the save.  Capps replaces Joe Nathan as the team's closer after Nathan blew a pair of saves earlier this week against Tampa Bay.  Minnesota is 5-10 and will begin a 4-game series at Baltimore tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (0-3) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Chris Tillman (0-1) toes the rubber for the Orioles.
