The Twins defeated the Oakland A's 5-4 Monday afternoon to end their 5-game losing streak.  Minnesota scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to come from down 4-3 to win.  Justin Morneau singled in the tying run before Ryan Doumit's sacrifice fly scored Josh Willingham from 3rd base to put the Twins ahead.  Matt Capps allowed 2 base runners but converted the save.  He blew a save the day before against Detroit.

Minnesota is 16-32 and will host Oakland again Tuesday night at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Cole DeVries (0-1) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jarrod Parker (1-3) toes the rubber for the A's.
