Twins, Correia Beat Brewers 6-3

The Twins defeated the Brewers in Milwaukee 6-3 Monday afternoon.  Kevin Correia threw 6 innings with 7 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 5-4.  Joe Mauer was 1-3 with 3 runs scored, Ryan Doumit added a 2-run single and Pedro Florimon was 2-4 with 1 RBI.

Former Twin Carlos Gomez hit 3rd for the Brewers and had 2 homeruns.  Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning for his 10th save.  The Twins will play the 2nd game of the 4-game series at Milwaukee Tuesday night at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.
