The Twins stayed hot Monday with a 7-2 win over the Red Sox at Target Field. Minnesota is now a season-best eight games over .500 with a record of 26-18.

Minnesota ended up having six players registering mult-hit games including Trevor Plouffe, who was 2-5 with a home run and three runs batted in, and Eduardo Escobar, who was 3-4 in the win.

Ricky Nolasco turned in a strong start for the Twins, pitching into the eighth inning while allowing just two runs on seven hits and no walks. The righthander struck out five Red Sox batters, and improved to 5-1 on the season.

The Twins take on the Red Sox again on Tuesday night at 7:10. Pregame coverage on WJON begins at 6:30.
