CLEVELAND -- The Twins wasted a rare good outing by starting pitcher Ricky Nolasco, as the lineup could only muster four hits in a 2-0 loss to the Indians.

Nolasco held Cleveland scoreless until the fourth when Indians slugger Carlos Santana grooved his second home run of the doubleheader, giving Cleveland a 1-0 lead.

Nolasco was stuck with the tough-luck loss as he finished the game with seven innings pitched, giving up one run on six hits.

Caleb Thielbar started the eighth inning and gave up a run, but it did not end up mattering as the Twins were unable to figure out Indians starter T.J. House, who surrendered only four hits in seven innings of shutout work.

The Twins' 2-0 loss drops them to 62-84 after getting swept in today's back-to-back doubleheader.

Minnesota travels to Chicago to take on the White Sox tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. with Phil Hughes taking the mound and seeking to become the first Twins pitcher since 2010 to reach 16 wins in a season.
