Truck Strikes Car Near Onamia, Leaves 1 Hurt

ONAMIA -- One person is hurt after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Mille Lacs County.

The state patrol says the incident happened shortly before noon on Highway 169 north of Onamia.

A car driven by 86-year-old Eleanore Skochenski of Pierz pulled out onto the highway from a gas station when she was sideswiped by a truck. Skochenski suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, 32-year-old David Mott of Onamia, was not hurt.
