Truck Driver Falls Asleep Behind The Wheel, Crashes On Highway 23
ST. CLOUD – A truck driver crashed after falling asleep behind the wheel, causing a gasoline spill on Highway 23.
St. Cloud police responded to the crash at Highway 23 and Wilson Avenue just before 10 p.m. last night.
The driver received only minor injuries after crashing into a bridge pier, but a HAZMAT crew was called because the truck leaked gasoline onto the road.
More cleanup is expected today and detours between Wilson and Lincoln on Highway 23.
