Trooper involved in 3-vehicle crash on I-94

ST. AUGUSTA — Three vehicles — including a State Patrol Squad car — were involved in a crash on Interstate 94 on Saturday morning, shutting down the interstate for a while.

The State Patrol says the incident happened just before noon near St. Augusta. A vehicle driven by 44-year-old Tammy Jo Schultz-Lemmer of Hatley, Wisconsin struck the trooper’s car, which was driven by 51-year-old Richard Kitzmiller of St. Cloud. The squad then ran into a third vehicle driven by 36-year-old Godfrey Tadeo of Fargo.

Schultz-Lemmer, a 17-year-old passenger in her vehicle, and Kitzmiller were all taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
