Whistler

Whistler is a neutered 1 ½ year old Coonhound mix. He would do best in a home that has a fenced-in yard due to his tendency to follow his hound nose. Whistler has done well with children and dogs that are his size or larger - anything smaller he wants to chase. He has a lot of energy and enjoys going on runs. He rides well in a car and knows how to sit when asked. Whistler enjoys all kinds of treats but rawhide bones and pig ears are his favorite. Whistler’s been at the shelter for nearly a month so his adoption fee has been dropped to $40.00.

Maestro

Maestro is a neutered 1 ½  year old cat who has an energetic and curious personality. He enjoys playing with toys that dangle and those filled with catnip. Maestro’s tail is shorter than normal, but he still tries to chase it once in a while. He’s used to having access to a scratching post and cat tower.  Maestro enjoys being brushed, but best do his grooming session after he’s tired out - otherwise he thinks the brush is something to grab and play with!
