Tri-County Humane Society Pet Patrol: Meet Louie and Rusty
Louie is a 4 year old Quaker Parrot. He’s used to being handled, knows how to “step up” and is very social in nature. Fresh fruits are a great addition to his regular pellet diet and his favorite is bananas. With proper care, Quaker Parrots can live up to 30 years. Louie’s cage and supplies are included in his adoption fee.
Rusty is a 5 year old neutered Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He’s very active and loves to spend time outside. Rusty loves the water and fetch is his all-time favorite game. He was given free roam of the house and did very well with housetraining. Rusty knows the commands sit and lay down and will sit by the door when he needs to go outside. He’s done well with children and other dogs in the past and would be a good fit for an active household.
