Tri-County Humane Society Pet Patrol: Meet Lola And Daisy
Lola is a spayed 5 year old Patterdale Terrier mix. She’s been around kids and is house-trained. When she was home alone she was kenneled and will go in it when told to kennel. She really enjoys running around when she’s outside and is more subdued when she’s inside. Lola’s a sensitive dog and can be shy when first meeting new people. Her owner described her as a little snuggle bug and will sleep under the covers if allowed. Lola weighs 20 pounds.
Daisy is a spayed, 1½ year old Golden Retriever and Yellow Lab mix. Daisy is treat motivated and knows how to ‘sit’. She enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls. But be warned, if you give her a bone outside, she’s not going to bring it back – she’s going to go bury it. She’s done well being around other dogs in the past. Daisy’s still quite young, so she has a lot of puppy in her yet. She loves the water and peanut butter in a Kong is another favorite of hers.
