Tri-County Humane Society Pet Patrol: Meet Lily and Penny

Lily

Lily is almost 6 years old, is spayed and came to the shelter due to her people moving. Check out those hair tufts coming out of her ears! Lily prefers to be the queen of her of castle as she does not enjoy the company of other cats, dogs, or kids. She likes to bask in the sun and lounge around the house. Lily will seek attention on her own terms and prefers to sleep at the foot of your bed. Her adoption fee would be waived for a senior citizen or veteran.

Penny

Penny is a 4 year old spayed Shepherd mix.   Penny tends to play a little too rough with small dogs and cats so a home with animals about her size would be best.  She can be choosy with other dogs so it’d be a good idea to do a meet and greet before taking her home if you have another dog. She’s done OK with children who are gentle with her.  Penny is a very active dog and would benefit from a high quality diet and long daily walks. She likes to chew on rawhides and play with toys. It’s recommended to supervise your dog’s progress on a chew bone and only buy bones and treats made in the USA.
