This lovable lug is Baxter. He’s a neutered 5 year old Golden Retriever and Collie mix. Baxter came to the shelter due to allergies in the home. He’s lived with young children and was good with them but can forget his size sometimes. He’s very affectionate, outgoing and loves to be around people. Baxter likes to think of himself as a 75 pound lap dog. Looking to go for a spring road trip? Baxter will be right there with you and loves to go for car rides. He’s house trained and does best when kept on a schedule and is used to being kenneled when home alone. When he’s in his kennel he likes the comfort of having a stuffed animal to keep him company.
