Tri-County Humane Society Pet Patrol: Buttercup and Akela
Akela is a 1 ½ year old neutered Golden Retriever mix who kept wanting to catch and retrieve the cats in his previous home, so a home without cats would be recommended. This former wide-retriever likes to spend his Sundays with family watching football games! He’s a loyal Viking’s fan and want to be your biggest fan too! When Akela isn’t watching football with his people, he also loves to garden! Truth be known, he’s much better at digging than planting! Akela isn’t a very big dog and weighs in at 37 pounds.
Buttercup is a spayed and declawed 5 year old cat who weighs in at 13 pounds! While she certainly doesn’t mind her figure, she’d definitely benefit from more play time and less naps and snacks. Buttercup is the epitome of happiness and relaxation. She’s enjoyed the company of other animals and children in the past and would a purr-fect addition to almost any home! Buttercup's fee would be waived for a senior citizen or veteran.
