ST. CLOUD - It goes without saying - many, many lives have been forever changed by the war in Iraq. Tonight, a new and topical traveling film/ visual art exposition opening in St. Cloud will explore this topic.

The Paramount Theatre is hosting,"Navigating the Aftermath" which tells the collective story of lives, both American and Iraqi, impacted by the Iraq War.

Nate Fisher, a documentary filmmaker based in Minneapolis, says the exhibit is in partnership with the Iraqi-American Reconciliation Project.

In his film, "The Unreturned," Fisher tells the story of five Iraqis dealing with the effects of war on their own lives.

Fisher says the art shows a different, more human side of the war not typically captured in the media.

The opening reception for "Navigating the Aftermath" is tonight from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with Fisher's film to screen afterward.

The event is free, and the exhibit will remain in the Paramount through October 6th.
