Train Hits A Car In Western Stearns County
BROOTEN - A train hit a car stuck on the railroad tracks.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the 2001 Saturn was driven by 50-year-old Michael Scott Johnson of Glenwood. He was on a private crossing, about four-miles east of Brooten when the vehicle got stuck. Johnson got out of the car, and as emergency vehicles were arriving on the scene, a train struck the car and drug it for about a half-mile.
No one was hurt.
