Little Falls Seeking Reality Show Fame, Community Makeover [AUDIO]

LITTLE FALLS - Little Falls has a shot at reality TV stardom.  The town is one of a handful of finalists to be featured on a new show called "Town 180".

Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Kris VonBerge says the winning city will win a grand prize of $100,000 for a community makeover, plus smaller prizes throughout the six-to-eight weeks of filming.

VonBerge says its been a long process.  She sent in the initial application last May.   She says the show's producers have asked for follow-up videos since.  VonBerge says she's trying to feature some of Little Falls' more colorful characters.

She says, besides winning the cash prize, the free marketing they would get from the show would be huge for Little Falls.

She says she's hoping to know if they're the winning city in the next few weeks.
