ST. CLOUD -- The Central Minnesota Sustainability Project and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship are hosting a tour tomorrow of the community garden on Maine Prairie Road in St. Cloud.

Autumn Brown is the Executive Director of the Central Minnesota Sustainability Project ans she says the tours are meant to showcase the benefits of having a community garden available in neighborhoods.

The garden being toured is home to 75 gardens of families from diverse ethnic backgrounds.

Brown says being involved with The Central Minnesota Sustainability Project is means a lot to her because having control over your food source is an important responsibility.

The Garden Tours will be at 3226 Maine Prairie Road in southwest St. Cloud starting at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by a discussion by local beekeeper Kevin Carpenter at 1:30 p.m.
