Top Prospect Buxton Homers, Twins Fall to Blue Jays 4-3

DUNEDIN – The Minnesota Twins fell to the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 during spring training action on Saturday.

Twins starter Phil Hughes threw three scoreless innings in the contest, striking out two and allowing only one hit and a walk.

Twins top prospect Byron Buxton hit his first home run of the spring, a two run shot in the third inning.

The Twins will return to action on Sunday at 12:05 p.m. to take on the Philadelphia Phillies. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON.
