ST. JAMES, (AP) - A Minnesota plant that makes Bacon Bits for the Hormel Corp. could close later this year.

Tony Downs Foods says Bacon Bits production is being shifted to a new facility owned by Hormel.

Tony Downs Foods President Mike Downs say the company is in discussions with the plant's 75 employees about the closure, which could occur in May. Downs says there could be opportunities for employees at the company's other plants.
