UNATED - Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Primary Election day in Minnesota.  Most polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In statewide races: Democratic U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar is being challenged by three fellow DFLers.   The Republican nominee in the U.S. Senate race is Kurt Bills, he's being challenged by two other Republicans.

Sixth District Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is facing a primary challenge by two other Republicans.

In the State Senate District 13 incumbent Republican Michelle Fischbach takes on Fadumo Yusuf.  Might recall Yusuf accidentally entered this race, her actual intention was to run for U.S. Senate.

Locally, in Benton County: The 5th District Commissioners race has three candidates, Jane DeAustin, Jake Bauerly, and Stephen Simon.  The top two will advance to the general election.  Current Commissioner for the 5th District Butch Bukowski is retiring.

In Sauk Rapids, there are five people running for two at-large council seats: Bill Bard, Nicholas Sauer, Steven Heinen, Bryan Kosidowski, and Jeremy Stockinger.  The top four voter getters will advance to the November election.
