COLD SPRING - Part of Highway 23 could be renamed for fallen Cold Spring-Richmond Peace Officer Tom Decker.

A bill was introduced in both the State House and Senate to rename the stretch of highway from Cold Spring to Richmond the "Officer Tom Decker Memorial Highway".  Senator Michelle Fischbach of Paynesville authored the bill.

State Representative Jeff Howe of Rockville introduced the bill in the House on Tuesday as well.
