Todd County Offering Prescription Drug Drop-Off Event

LONG PRAIRIE — The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is working with law enforcement agencies in Todd County for a prescription drug take-back event.

The DEA, Long Prairie Police Department, Staples Police Department and Todd County Sheriff’s Office will offer collection sites Saturday at two locations. You can bring your expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs for an anonymous drop-off.

The collection sites will be at CentraCare Health Systems in Long Prairie from 10:00-12:00 p.m. and at Lakewood Health Systems in Staples from 10:00-2:00 p.m.
