Todd County Deputies Warn Of Possible Phone Scam

TODD COUNTY — The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens of a possible phone scam after a report around 10:30 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

Deputies say a citizen was contacted by someone saying he had won $500,000. He was told to go to Wal-Mart and apply for a card to claim his winnings.

The caller says he didn’t give out any personal information.

If you think you may be a victim of a possible phone scam you are encouraged to contact the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.
