Today Could Be Hottest Day of the Year

ST. CLOUD - This is expected to be the hottest day of the year. WeatherEye is predicting a high of 92-degrees this (Friday) afternoon here in St. Cloud.

The heat index will range between 95 and 100 this afternoon.

We've had only one other day in the 90's so far this summer. It was 90 back on June 9th. By the way, it's possible we could set a record today.

The record high for this date is 94 degrees, which has happened twice - in 1938 and again in 1970.
