The Vikings lost 14-3 Saturday night in their preseason opener at Tennessee against the Titans.  Minnesota trailed 14-0 at halftime and scored its only points on a 37-yard field goal from Ryan Longwell.  Donavan McNabb started the game and was 6-11 passing for 40 yards.  Joe Webb was 4-8 passing for 45 yards and he ran for 33 yards on 5 attempts.  Rookie Christian Ponder played most of the 2nd half and was 8-13 passing for 84 yards.

Adrian Peterson had just 1 carry for 3 yards and Percy Harvin had just 1 catch for 3 yards.  Minnesota will play its 2nd preseason game at Seattle Saturday night at 9pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 8:00.
