Timely Rains Fall Around St. Cloud Area

ST. CLOUD - We received some much-needed rain around the Central Minnesota area this past week.

Early Saturday morning a rain showers dumped 1.39 inches of rain officially at the St. Cloud Regional Airport.  We also had .11 on Friday morning, and .46" on Tuesday morning.  The nearly two inches of rain in a week is helping crops, gardens, and lawns green-up and grow.

St. Cloud is now a little over a half-inch above normal so far for the month of July.  However, we're still about an inch and a quarter below normal since June 1st.
