The Timbewolves lose 94-91 at New York to the Knicks Sunday afternoon.  The Wolves led throughout until the 4th quarter when Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks from behind.  Anthony scored 19 of his 33 points in the 4th quarter.  Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 21 poins and 17 rebounds and Alexey Shved added 18 points for Minnesota.

Ricky Rubio scored 5 points off the bench in 18 minutes with just 2 assists.  The Wolves played without Kevin Love who missed the game with an eye injury sustained when Russell Westbrook hit his eye fighting for a loose ball Thursday night.  The Wolves fall to 13-12 and will host Houston Wednesday December 26 at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:30.
