Timberwolves Lay Off 11 Employees

The Timberwolves reportedly laid off at least 11 employees.  The lay offs are likely in connection with the NBA lockout.  The Wolves are the 3rd team so far to lay off employees after the NBA lockout began.  None of the lay offs appear to be affecting the basketball operations side.

The NBA announced the 2011-2012 schedule yesterday.  The Wolves will begin the season November 2 against Atlanta if the lockout is over.  Minnesota will host Kevin McHale and the Houston Rockets November 25.
