SAN ANTONIO - The Minnesota Timberwolves lost in OT to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Timberwolves led by 16 points in the first half when they went up 41-25 on a Shabazz Muhammed lay-up. The T'wolves kept a double-digit lead going into the half up 55-43.

The Spurs clamped down on defense in the second half and kept the Wolves to just 28 points in the 2nd half and only 7 points in overtime.

Karl Anthony Towns led the team with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Ricky Rubio finished with a triple-double having 11 points, 10 assists, and 13 rebounds.

The Wolves play the Portland Trailblazers at Target Center on Monday.
