The Timberwolves waived shooting guard Bonzi Wells Friday.  Wells is a 6'5 35-year old shooting guard who hadn't played in the NBA since 2008.  He played with coach Rick Adelman in Portland.  Wells scored a combined 4 points in the 2 Timberwolves preseason games.  The Wolves have 15 players since to guaranteed contract and it seemed unlikely that Wells would make the team.

The Timberwolves open the regular season against Oklahoma City at 7pm Monday night, we'll join the game after the Wild on AM 1390-the Fan.
